I like Christmas because you can to be with your family, you can share good times, you have free time to do a lot of activities, you can go out with your friends, but I like mainly because on Christmast my team’s managers often organized a basketball tournament, and you can play basketball with foreign teams.I don’t like Christmas because the people spend a lot of money.
I like Chirstmas day because one a year, the family is together and people feel that sympathy for the other. Maybe is other commercial day but in my opinion the present are not the key of this dates. solidarity or good intentions are more important. it’s a pity,the chiristmast day should last all year.
I really love Christmas, it’s one of the best times in the year. It`s the time when all the people you have spent the year with, come together, have fun and eat a lot xD. There are many good aspects about Christmas. I think one of them is that in those moments, nobody in the world is angry or bad tempered, everyone is happy and peaceful. I think also enemies become friends at Christmas. Another aspect, and I think the best, are the presents you receive. It’s not only about the material things, it’s about the feelings you get when you know that you will get something that you have waited for all the year. It’s the best feeling a children can have. But it isn’t so anymore. If I could, I would come back in the past just to get these feelings again. Now, it’s the opposite, it’s when I have to help my mother putting the presents down the tree and in the next morning, seeing the face of happiness of my little brother when he opens them. Anyway, Christmas are one of the most important things in this life and when they come, they should be wellcomed and well celebrated.
I think christmas is an special time in the year, it´s time to stay at home with your family.
I like christmas because it´s time to forget your problems, and be happy; it´s time to give and recive present, and sometimes you eat more than you can, by the other hand I don´t like christmas because many people isn´t happy, they don´t have anything, and they go for Caritas or other charities for recive some food, or the people who are alone or in a hospital they don´t have a good time.
Other thing I don´t like about christmas is you spend a lot of money, and then you have economicl problems.
But I like christmas because I have a good time
I like Christmas because it is an era in which the family gathers and passes very well. I also like it because I get many gifts and especially because there are no classes and I can be with my friends. On Christmas Eve I usually stay with some friends to go eat together. On new years eve I usually eat grapes with my parents and my sister, and then I’m with my friends and went out to celebrate. On New Year’s day I’m going to eat churros at a bar and then come back to my house and I sleep. The bad thing about Christmas is that I’m working every morning with my parents in their work.
CHRISTMAS
I like Christmas very much because I don’t have to go to high school, and I spend a lot of time with my family. I eat very much these days and I think that isn’t good.
I eat very much because my mother cooks very well!
Every year, my mother cooks a pig in the oven.
I never get to eat my twelve grapes because I am very slow eating but I don’t believe in bad luck.
I meet with all my family. This year there was a new member in my family, my niece Aisha.
I like bangers. I have a lot of them at home. Every year I buy some of them.
My family always prepares a big christmas tree at the hall and puts a long tube of light at the front of the house.
The three kings always give me a lot of presents because I am a very good boy.
In conclusion, I enjoy Christmas a lot.
I think that the Christmas is a very special day, because I can spend lots time with my family, we sing christmas carols, we open the presents with much delusion, we garnish the christmas tree with ornaments chosen by all my family together. The Christmas is a wonderful day.
But, by other hand I don’t like the christmas day, because I don’t like the nougat, nor the stuffed turkey nor other christmas foods.
In this christmas I went with my family to my aunt house in La Laguna. This year the christmas was little different of other years. In this year we don’t garnish the christmas tree, this year we elaborated a big Nativity scene. This year we don’t open the presents, because there wasn’t much money, in his stead, we preparated a grat dinner to christmas with exquisites foods.
What I like most about Christmas is being able to spend time with my family. I feel like everyone writes that, but that’s what it is about for me. My parents work a lot, so it’s lovely to spend the day on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with them. I love it when it’s cold outside and the house is decorated with lights and candles. I also enjoy it a lot when we prepare dinner on Christmas Eve; everyone helps and tries to make it as special as possible.
What I don’t like much about it is the amount of money people spend on presents. I mean, presents are nice, and everyone loves to get something. But it’s quite unecessary to spend so much money on others, when it’s mostly the simple things, what makes them happiest.
I think Christmas is, if not the best, one of the best times of the year. I like Christmas because I like to see the happiness in the face of the people and the children running on the street. It’s also especial because the families can meet again with members who they cannot see during the year because of the distance, etc.
On the other hand, I think it’s a time of the year that reminds me to my childish and I like it, but also because it has just good intentions, nothing else.
But forgetting this and focussing on the especial days of Christmas, the day I like most is New Year’s Eve, because it means we are in other year and because this day there usually are many festivals and I like to go out for celebrating the new year’s coming with my friends.
But also I would like to stand out the Christmas Eve. I like this day because it’s a day that I usually spend with my family and is nice to have a dinner with them but also because we usually have a good time, playing the guitar, maracas, tambourines, singing, etc.
Anyway, If I’m honest I have to say when I was a child my opinions were different. My favourite day was, clearly, the Three Kings Day. Receiving presents and also, in some cases, giving presents, in addition to the emotion, was probably the best day of the year. However, nowadays I have lost the delusion, what I think is normal.
So, I love Christmas time and I suggest the people to enjoy it, because sometimes we forget how lucky we are.
Chirstmas is the time for being with the family and friends.There are many days importants in this holidays as Christmas eve , Christmas day , New Year eve and New Year day.
On the one hand, I like Christmas because people are very happy and I think that they are also more kind.Moreover, people receive presents of his relations.
On the other hand, I don`t like the Christmas because on the commercial centers there are many people and for buying things is dificult.
In conclusion , I think that the Christmas have more advantages that disadvantages.It`s time to be happy.
Christhmas as we know is a special time of the year, that occurs all over the world. In my opinion Christhmas has good things, but also bad things.
For me the main good thing is that every year I always meet with all my family components. From my grandfather to my cousin. I have family in La Gomera and in Las Palmas so I usually go every year to one of them.
So being with the family is for me the most important, but as we know all of us we like to receive gifts, so I like also that from Christhmas.
It is when illusion happens and I write a number of gifts that I would like and sometimes the leave me what I want or what they decide with me knowing nothing.
And also, happiness occurs in Christhmas, lots of celebrations and parties, I like that a lot. but it has a contrast, in Christhmas I always remember family that is not still with us and that is a very sad part for me.
I like Christmas because all the family are together. We spend the christmas day in my grandmother’s house. I have two cousins , they are five years old, so someone is dressed like Santa Claus and bring present for us. It’s very funny, and the faces of my cousins are incredible!
I like also the end of the year, because I wear my new dress and I go with friends.
Clearly what I like most about Xmas is receive presents, although if I had enough money to buy presents for my parents and my brothers, I would buy it.
On the other hand, I like when all family is gathered on Xmas Eve and we talk about several topics, I think the family is one of the things more important for each.
Also I like the day of New Year, I always eat grapes with my parents and my brother, and then I go out with my friends, this year I went to La Noria street.
I think that I like everything about Xmas, although I don’t like when we have to return to class, but this is always after any holidays.
Something that also I like much about Xmas is eat shortbread, candies, chocolate, etc. I love this kind of food although is unhealthy, but once a year, does not hurt jajaja.
In conclusion, the Xmas Holiday is one of better dates in all year, clearly after vacations in summer!
Christmas is one of the dates that I like in the year, it’s a very special time for the all family is together. I don’t think that Christmas is material, it’s important to spend with your relative or friends. To me it means a lot because they always come from Argentina my grandmothers and uncles. From Christmas I like everything. I hate that people do not respect the culture of others
What do I like most and what don’t I like about Christmas?
Well, I would say that the thing that I like most about Christmas is that I share more moments in family, like in the Christmas Eve dinner, the New Year’s Eve dinner, and also in New Year’s Day, when we go to the Basilica’s Square to receive the New Year and we meet with our friends. I also like, and I think as everyone, that we don’t have classes, so we can enjoy the Christmas more. Also, I like the moment when we open the gifts, specially when I see my neighbor opening her gifts, she’s only 9 years old, and I like to see her illusion and her happiness when she opens them.
I really don’t know if there is something about Christmas that I don’t like, but if I had to say something, well, I would say that the only thing that I don’t like about it, is that we only have two weeks of vacations, I would like to have, I don’t know.. maybe one more week haha.
In few words, I like all about the Christmas, if we didn’t have two months of vacations in summer, I would say that Christmas is the best holiday of the year haha.
I believe that Christmas is very special time of year for me is very important because Christmas Eve is my grandfather died. and that will not let me enjoy Christmas as it normally did so, but this year was very special because my family came from Venezuela and we were many people, my girlfriend also came. This Christmas was fun. I really liked the gifts.
I like Christmas. Because for me, Christmas is the time where all people are happy childrens didn´t have school, the teachers didn´t teach because the school is close, the mums went to the shopping, thing that they love. The only that no happy is the wallet because it spent the money. But the Christmas are very nice because you stay with your family.
For me, Christmas is the best time on the year, because I can spend this time with my family, and this is the only month that I can meet and enjoy with them. I like the most of Christmas is when we have dinner together in the Christmas Day and when we receive the new year. Also, I love Christmas because we celebrate the birthdays of my cousins and mine. Of course I like so much Christmas time because I don’t have to go to school because I’m on holidays and I like it so much. But I don’t like about Chrismas is that there are a lot of people that only thinks in presents and for them the most important about this time are presents and I don’t think that this is the most important. So, for this reason, Christmas has became in a commercial time and the real espirit of Christmas has been lost and it’s a shame!
I think that Christmas time is the best moment of the year, because you spend the time with all your family and this it s a great experience. .Other reasons are that I receive a lot of presents and also , because the weather is cold and cloudy .But I In other hand, sometimes I feel sad thinking that some people stays in the hospital because they are sick, or there family missing someone who died. Actually I know a young surfer who died in a traffic car accident just 2 days before 24th of dicember…that`s horrible for me.
For my, Christmas is a period where the people met with her family and friends for eat and spend a good time. The true spirit of the Christmas is this, but now the Christmas become in a period where the people spend a lot money for buy presents for give to her family.
I like Christmas because I think that met with our friends and family is very nice. This Christmas I went to play a national Championship of football of Coca-Cola, it was a good experience because I know new person. I also go to the cinema and I throw bangers.
I like the most about Christmas are the presents (of course) and that the family can be together, maybe only these days and the rest of the year they don’t see them never, also I like Christmas because everybody decorate their houses with candles, Christmas lights and it looks better.
I don’t like about Christmas… I like all about it, Christmas it’s an amazing stage to be happy, generous with the people and enjoy each second with your friends and family. Because Christmas is only once a year.

I like Christmas because all my family are toguether and it’s fantastic because I really like spend my time near of my family, laughin, eating, there’re special moments of the year. I think people give more importance to the Christmas presents than the time that you stay with your family. I don’t like the Shopping Centers on Christmas because there are many people and is oppressive. I don’t like some people are sad on Christmas, because some people in this date became melancholic. I don’t like this date because I think in the poor familys, they can’t buy presents for his children, and this is very sad.
I love Christmas because I spend much time with my family, I see people who I see hardly ever. In Christmas people are happy, thinking is different… I like Christmas because it’s a holiday for everyone. The birthday, for example, is of one person, a individual party, but Christmas is for share, and everyone like that time in the year. Of course, I like that I don’t go to the school, it’s a break, and I like the presents, absolutely!
Maybe, I don’t like of Christmas the small time of the festivity, and that in this celebration people spend a lot of money in the presents and the rest. It’s true that Christmas is very comercialized and often people spend too money buying, but in fact I have a good time giving presents, and I like when they see that thing, I like look their face because they are very happy and there is lots of hopefully…
I think Christmas is at the end of the day a commercial celebration, but if you look under the superficial things, the presents and the appearance, you will see that it isn’t bad at all because the people meet with their dear ones for stay together and have a nice moment. the love and illusion it’s in the air.
I like christmas because i spend the days with my father, mother and mi brother and the weather is cold and I like it. The streets are beautiful because there are ligth and there are many people. I like because we in my family give away a presents in the important nights. I don´t like Christmas because is a little time, d my family live in Madrid and I´m not with them. I love Christmas is very nice for me.
What I like of Christmas is that people at this time remember you , plus I’m with my family and friends and enjoy holidays in the great moments happened with people I can not see at other times of year .But I do not like Christmas is only when people meet and remember you too, this should happen not only at Christmas; and another thing I don´t like about Christmas is that there are many poor people who can not allow spend big money on gifts and many families in the world is these days disconsolate I think.
In Christmas I like being with my family and celebrating Christmas with them. Other things I like are fireworks lightning the dark sky of the night.
By the other hand, I don’t like the commercialization that has been made by the industry because they make the people think they must buy and buy to make happy their loved ones. All that changes the real meaning of Christmas that is spending a nice time with people you love.
Christmas, I like the spirits of the persons. I like because it’s a time to be with the family and it’s a really good time and to be honest I like them for the gifts… but who not? I don’t like that the people spend a lot of money to buy presents to his sons.But I like Christmas because I’m with my familly.
